Where the wild things are

Tetsushi's new favourite book is a great classic, "Where the wild things are 怪獣たちのいるところ". Papa loves this book too since he was small, but now heard a news about this book. It becomes a Hollywood movie.

At first, maybe six months ago, Tetsushi didn't show any interest in this book, but now he's a bigger boy, and he loves monsters and dinnsaurs, but sometimes when he sees something you doesn't like, he says '怖い～(I'm scared)’, and he escapes.

He also loves a Robot which Baikinman uses. It's called "Dadandan だだんだん".

He likes playing with it - made by blocks.
He likes everythings boys like. Cars, Trains, Robots, Dinosaurs and Monsters. He's really getting a boy.

New Backpac - Pikachu

Tetsushi's recovery from the operation is incrediblly fast. He's very active again, but until next Tuesday he's not allowed to attend the creche. So he has to stay with mummy all days - poor mummy! He's so agile as a kitten and she can't catch him...

He got a new backpac from Obachan. The character is Pikachu. He loves this bag, and carries it all the time even at home. We can put his nappy so it's very handy. This photo was taken at River Park where we can enjoy wathing many birds in big bird cages.

Now his English is pretty good, and when papa drives, he keeps saying, 'Papa! Be carefull, Another Car!'. He certainly enjoys driving.

Thomas the Tank Engine - Percy

Last week Tetsushi went to Toy World, and found a green train, a friend of Thomas, and he wanted to have that one, and he didn't want to leave the shop without it. We forced him to come home, and he cried too much. After he came home, he kept talking about the green train so we promised to buy that the following Saturday, and he learned a new word - 今度緑のトーマス買う（next time I will buy a green Thomas). So finally we bought PERCY.

Percy's Number is No.6. Tetsushi keeps talking about No.6 now. He always holds blue Thomas, and green Percy in his both hands, and playing alone for a long time. A new toy makes a good trick - he doesn't need us when he's got something new.

Also, now he has a trike - Thomas the tank engine designe. However, he can't really ride on it. We need to push the trike with the support bar attached to the back of it. But it's better than carrying him when we go to Raymond Park. He enjoys going out with his trike. We hope he becomes able to ride on it by himself very soon.

Magic Word!

Still Tetsushi doesn't listen to us well so we decided to use a 'classic' timeout trick. Every time we's naughty, we say we are going to take dark place - a corner of lounge - which I did once - and he suddenly chnages his attitude. His face becomes stern, and serious. Then he changes his close and nappy without shouting and yelling! It's like a miracle. It's not very good to scare him all the time, but it is necessary for him to learn discipline. He is scared to hear "部屋の隅、真っ暗くら".

His cold is almost gone, although he's got runny nose, and generally his condition is fine. he eats well, with our spoon feeding, and he plays well. He's happy to go to toilet for pee. He sits on Poo-san. He loves singing now. He can sing songs together if we sing a song. He likes Sparrow song 小燕子(chinese), Anpanman Marchアンパンマンマーチ, Omocha no chachacha おもちゃのチャチャチャ(Japanese) etc. Next time we will show you a video in which he's singing.





Now the second baby is coming soon, and he often says 'もうすぐお兄ちゃんなる' (soon I'll be a big brother'. He likes touching mummy's swollen tommy. Surely he understands a new baby is there. he's a big boy now.

Big One!

It's August, and Hamilton's getting a little bit warmer at daytime, but the spring hasn't come yet totally. Once it gets warmer, we can resume toilet training. Tetushi is growing - I see some changes.

One of his recent favourite words is 'Big One!'. He liked 'small' before, but now if we say, it's small, we correct it with 'Big One'. he want a big piece of kiwi fruit, a big cookie, a big spoon yoghurt etc. Is he simply greedy???

he still likes Anpanman, but he watched his DVDs too many times. His favourite is still 'ITAINO TONDEKE DAKE - Pain, Goaway, Mushroom'. He likes '真っ暗' - in this episode, Baikinman and Anpanman go deep into a cave where it's all dark.

These days he listens to us quite well, but when he doesn't want to listen to me, he calls MAMA!, and vice varsa. No more daddy boy!?

Don't know! = Don't! No!

Tetsushi speaks Japanese when he talks with PAPA, and Chinese with MAMA. These days, thanks to long hours at Creche, he learned lots of English words. One of words he speaks very often is 'Don't know' - it should be a shorter form of 'I don't know', but for him, it means 'I hate it! (キッライ). When reading his baby bird book, at the point a naughty black crow appears, he starts shouting 'Don't know! Don't know!' Where does he mean 'I hate you!' by that?

Tetsushi's favourite saying

These days Tetsushi speaks quite meaningful words. He instantly copies Papa and Mama's words, but definitely he has some favourites. When playing he always says - おもしろいなあ(It's fun!), and it's very cute.

He still wakes up at 6:00 a.m. every morning regularly, and watch ANPANMAN for 30 minutes.　His recent favourite is Naganegiman (Spring Onion Man), and when he says, ネギー！, he laughs too much, and when Baikinman attachs innocent people (tries to steal food), he says キッライ、キ・ラーイ（I hate you!). Anyway, Anmanpan is still his favourite hero.

NZ is too wet these days. Instead it's getting warmer (and more humid).

Tetsushi 现在学会说" 不要 ” 如果我说亲亲脸蛋行吗，他说“不要亲亲脸蛋”。 然后他会说，“亲亲鼻子 ”。 很好玩的。 他最大的爱好到目前为止还是看书。如果他看到他不喜欢的那一页，他会躲到你背后，看到他喜欢的，再从你的背后出来。 现在他的三国语言已经说得很清楚了。他也很清楚的知道对什么人说哪国的话。一点不混乱。 只可惜，有时候我还要让他爸爸给我翻译他在说的什么。他爸爸当然也会问我同样的问题。他现在也可以用毛利语数数。（也就能数几个数字）。
