Shizuki recovered from Bronchiolitis

Now Shizuki is fully recovered from her sickness. She suffered coughing for a few weeks. Terrible. Now she talks a lot, and started eating solid food. Check more photos at Flikr.

Chickenpox Boy!

It's one week since Tetsushi caught Chickenpox. However his blisters are getting dry, and forming scabs. Thanks to anti-biotic, his pimple-like blisters didn't get too big. He often feels itchy, but not it seems not too bad. We put calamine lotion (it's white) so he feels better. His skins look so poor - face, back, legs, tummy... Hopefully he doesn't get any more new ones. If old ones got dried up, and came off, he can go back to Creche. Poor Tetsushi!

Chickenpox

Tetsushi contracted with Chickenpox. he got virus from someone at Creche. There are several kids like Tetsushi at Creche now. Many say you have to have it once in your life, so it is good for Tetsushi to have it now, but he cannot go outside for next two weeks, including Creche.

Parents got virus too. It seems we have immunity from chickenpox but we are not 100% sure so Mummy who has next baby Shizuki did another booldtest to check. We feel very tired, and weak like having cold. Papa was very tired Monday, and now Mummy is down. How can we survive? We don't have any helpers here... Our midwife Clare said it's warm, and it's a Chickenpox season. It is aweful.

Also we are fighting with our naighbour who makes crazily loud music. We call Hamilton City Council's Noise Control every day. Hopefully the council helps us to stop the neighbour's beat music. They play it at their garage every day, which is very close to our bedrooms. We had bad neighbour at old house, and now again. There are so many low quality people who don't care about others. If you get angry at them, anger lowers yourself to their low level. It's not worth getting angry, but how about the noise??? Life is tough...

Nightmare for us: 熱失神 (hest syncope)

Last saturday, we went to Pluncket's"Baby Gear Sale", where we bought some clothes for the new baby and few toys for Tetsushi.

It was very hot on that day. Tekkun wasn't so happy to be there and he asked papa to carry him all the time. But after he had bread, he became active again. When mum was checking clothes, he was looking at the blinds, which is on sale on the floor and he was playing with it. However, 1 mintue later, he suddenly lost himself and fainted. Papa came to pick him up from the floor, he was unconcious. We called his name and he slowly woke up. We really didn't know what happened and how it happened. He just stopped breathing for some time. We were scared by him. He lost himself, and we thought he was dead. Fourtuntely, he opened his eyes and cried in a small voice. We took him to see a doctor straight away. The doctor didn't find any problems from him. According to our guessing, maybe he got summer heat and faint. Now he is a healthy boy again. But mummy is still thinking that thing all the time since last saturday and she is scared too much.

Operation day: Inguinal Herniotomy ＋Scrotal Orchidopexy(鼠蹊ヘルニア切除と精巣固定手術)

Tekkun finally did his testicle's operation yesterday. We arrived at the hospital at 12:20pm and waited for few hours until 3:50pm he was taken to the theatre. He couldn't eat and drink anything from 7:30am, except little water until 11:30am. We had lunch while we were waiting.

However, Tekkun couldn't have anything. He played well by himself. He slept at 2:15pm for a nap. When the doctors took him to the theatre, he woke up. Papa went to the inside of the theatre with him. He cried a lot. Doctors put gas on him and about 30 seconds later he became drowsy and fell into sleep. Papa came out from the theatre and we waited at the wating room for about 50 mintues. He was crying when a dotor took him out from the theatre. He was shouting and crying for aobut 10 mintues. It was very hard to hold and control him. He was upset too much. He finally calm down when we gave him pieces of pineapple. He ate cooked mushroom and cookies as well. About 5:15pm, he slept again because his body needed recovering time. We waited until 6pm. The nurse did checking for him and made sure he was safe to go home. We came back home at nearly 7pm. It was a long day for all of us. He just sticked on Papa or Mama, and couldn't be alone. He could eat some dinner. We gave him pamol as well for pain relief. He woke up few times at that night. He can't go to creche this week. We will take him for one week checking next Monday.

Poor sick boy

Tetsushi got cold since last weekend. He has running nose, and he coughs so much. Maybe he is influnced by our bording student who is sick for nearly 2 weeks and spreading virus to every where in the house. He can't sleep well because of coughing. However, he is still quite happy to go to the creche. He doesn't have appetite and doesn't like drinking milk now. Hopefully he can get well soon. Got better

Tetsushi got Conjunctivitis from Creche, and his right eye became very red, but thanks to a new eyedrop we got from his doctor , his eyes are getting better. At first, he said 'Tommy Pain (おなかいたい) , and the doctor diagnosed it's because of infection. Anyway, it's the first time he told us his condition is not good. If he can tell us more about him, it's easier to look after him.

He makes pee in a small plastic container. He doesn't like going to toilet so he decided to do this way. This way we can save nappies, hopefully.

The monster who ate darkness is his another favourite book. He call it '真っ暗モンスター’. This morning he took it to his creche. He always carries with him something.

Tetsushi Spreading Germs

Tetsushi got cold from Creche, and he stared terrible runy nose and couging. First mama got cold from him, but she can't have any medicine because of little one in her tommy.

AT Sunday night, he couldn't sleep well, and he woke up Mama and Papa every hour, and yelled 'あっち行く、あっち行く' (Iwant to go there). He wanted to go to the lounge to play and wacth Anpanman. It's 1 o'clock in the morning! He had medicine, but didn't work. Mama was down, and to let her sleep quietly, Papa and baby went to the lounge and slept there... (We used sofa bed). His breathing became funny too. And we started using Ventolin and it looks like it worked well (he doesn't have asthma though).

Now it's Tuesday, and Papa got cold, and his throat is painful. When he's sick, he has always mucus. It's aweful. But now Tetushi is better. When he's sick, all families are sick... Good greif!

Mama is still sick... and papa having a throat candy. Poor parents.
